Information

This day ticket stretch of the River Swale is situated in Helperby, North Yorkshire. The Helperby Village Fishery is run by Helperby & Brafferton Angling Club.

This section of the river is home to specimen fish, giving day ticket anglers the opportunity to catch Barbel to 12lb, Chub to 6lb and Pike to 25lb along with large silverfish also.

Angling is permitted 400m upstream and 500m downstream from Dunroyal car park, meaning the fishery covers a stretch of about 900 metres. Fish with ease, as all access to the fishery, is tackle barrow friendly, with a self-closing gate recently installed into the field.

What will be your target fish when you next pay a visit to the River Swale in Helperby?
