Information

This day ticket stretch of the River Swale is located in Skipton-on-Swale, North Yorkshire. Managed by Thirsk Angling Club, this stretch commands approximately 1km of the left bank downstream of Skipton Bridge.

The depths, which range from 2-12ft hold plenty of far bank cover and provide you with the opportunity to catch Barbel to 10lb, Chub to 7lb and Perch to 3lb alongside a host of silverfish and predators.

The pegs nearest the bridge are fast and steamy, getting deeper with a slower current from the start of the second field.
With so much to target, what will you catch when you fish the River Swale in Skipton-on-Swale?
